If you were to ask Soul, remedial classes suck more than Black*star attempting to be a withdrawn and structured guy. They're boring as hell, especially when they're taught by Sid, who tends to go on about rambles about what kind of guy he used to be more than anything else. He's learned a lot about Sid's life before becoming a zombie, but hardly anything about the structure of souls.

Man, he doesn't even care about the structure of souls! That's Maka's job. His job is to eat them, and eat them good. That doesn't take any studying at all.

Soul's bored as hell, and he may be drooling just a little as he stares blankly at the front of the room, his head settled in his arms. He ain't daring to sleep, but that doesn't mean he's not zoning the hell out.

...okay, now Soul really has no idea what to do. He promised her that he'd stick around, but how long can they stay here? Kid or Liz might come looking for her, and then it was possible they might mistake the situation and kick his butt.

Not that he knew what the situation was, anyway. Help! Someone tell him, so he can do more than sit and look stupid!

Liz comes in after a few minutes, if only to check on her sister and...

She walks straight back out, with a grin on her face and a hurriedly waved hand. "I'll leave you to it, but bring her home soon, okay?"

She just. Doesn't want to know.

Meanwhile, Patty, while drooling on Soul's chest is a very fun idea, does seem to stir a little, untangling herself before sitting on his torso, glancing down.

"Ahhhh, I'm hungry, I think."

That was enough of a nap for now.
