Oh well. That went. Okay it went horribly but THINGS COULD BE WORSE.
So Soul walks, maybe limps, but he's fine, all in all, and he's still excited-- that took the edge off of most of it, actually-- about Crona. So, of course, the best thing to do is, next day, when school's closing and the floods of students are going out, to hang back, send Maka to her studying, and wait up for Crona.
When he sees her, he figures... he'll go ahead and grab her hand, just being comforting, then pass a smile, confident and cocky as ever. Anything was worth bearing for this, after all.

She knows where he is, she's heading for there right now. He's planning on being comforting, she's planning on playing nurse, first aid kit in hand. She won't be very good at it, but, um, its the thought that counts... right?
Very first thing when she seems him: she is very relieved he is not blue.
Who knew about Stein tendancies!"S-soul," she says, her voice unsure. ""H-h-hi."no subject
"You don't uh, have to worry about. Stuff. I'm good now." He thinks he's good now, anyway. That couuuld be up in the air, but for now, he was fine. "Nobody made fun of you after, did you?" He asks, a little concerned.
After all, it was kinda his fault they both got in trouble. He could only do so much.

As for the query about teasing, she shrugs. "A few asked questions, but Maka made them go away. The worst was her grilling me."
She doesn't look like she felt that experience had been horrible at all.

"So... Maka took it well? Or whatever..." He gives a nod, closing his eyes. "If anyone messes with you, tell me, okay? I'll mess them right back." He knows Crona's capable of taking care of herself, but that darn pesky protective instinct!
He's relaxed, at the very least.

....how ominous, really.
But she smiles, then, at what Soul says, and she's calmer again. What power he has. "Thank you," she says, and she looks like she wants to do more than smile at his offer, but she has no idea what it would be.

"Did she now..." he starts, putting a hand to the back of his head. And holy lord was he screwed when he went to talk to Makaaaaa. At least it wasn't Stein, but then again, Stein didn't know about this. Aaand apparently Maka did. So. Ahahhahah. Screwed, have we inlaid it enough?
"You're welcome."

"She'll be nice! S-she has to be... r-r-right?"
...
no subject
"Don't worry about that either. All right?" He gives a comforting squeeze, not too hard at all, lingering and strong.

"Are we sure we want to stay here all day?" she asks, finally, and forces some sort of smile. "Unless I am going to fix your ankle..."

Maka can be handled. He figures she's seen and felt enough about it anyway, so explaining will just be difficult. He'll try, for all their sakes, his, Crona's, and Maka's.

She hates crowds, they make her nervous. Well. A lot of things make her nervous, but she does not want to be nervous right now... more than she has to be.

He leads her, not tugging, but a slow, easy pace towards some of the smaller shops in town, away from the more crowded streets. He locates a cafe, something with seats on the cobblestone streets, but not altogether too displayed. Comfortable, if sweet and appropriate.
"You think this place would work? We could sit out in the daylight when we eat."
no subject
"Th-thank you," she says, and smiles briefly, holding onto his hand more tightly.
no subject
"No problem," he laughs, giving a nod. "Shall we, then?" He asks, in his best, polite voice, with a half bow and a gesture to the nearest table.
no subject
"'Kay," she says, that quiet voice of hers almost calm for once, and takes a seat at that table.

A waiter comes for their drink orders, and he just gets a soda. It's more about spending time with her than what he's chowing down on, anyway.

>Would you like to date
>Yes
>Would you like to go somewhere
>Okay
......
She flushes deeply and covers her face, a sudden squeak coming out before she can stop it.

Has he done something wrong? Did she get something funny? He worries, first and foremost, and forgets, when you hear hoofbeats, think horse, not zebra.
Thinkin' zebra right now.
"Crona?"

She trails off, unable to put the concept into words for just a moment. " - o-on a-a date!"
...and it hasn't killed her, yet!
no subject
"I like spendin' time with you."

Her voice is quiet and hesitant, but completely honest, in a way she can never bring herself to be around most.
